TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR GUESTS STAYING AT Berry Park
It is the responsibility of the individual who books the holiday to ensure that all persons occupying the property comply with our Terms and Conditions. Furthermore, it is the responsibility of all persons staying at the property to familiarise themselves upon arrival with the contents of the information folder provided which contains essential information about the property.
BOOKING DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT OF FINAL BALANCE
To confirm a booking, Berry Park requires a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the full rental cost of your holiday. We will send you full details of the deposit and payment of balance terms by post or email. The balance of the full rental cost of your holiday must be paid at least six weeks before the holiday begins. Failure to pay the balance within 7 days of the due date will constitute cancellation of the booking and the deposit will be forfeited.
If arrival is less than 6 weeks from booking the full payment will be required to confirm the booking.
We, the owners, should be notified by telephone or e-mail as soon as reasonably possible should you wish to cancel your booking.
If a reservation is cancelled within 6 weeks of the start date of the holiday, we will attempt to re-let the property. Where this is successful, we will refund the amount we were able to re-let the property for, minus the non-refundable 30% deposit. The final balance will be retained if we are unable to re-let the property.
We strongly advise that you take out comprehensive travel insurance. If you choose not to
then you accept responsibility for any loss that you may incur due to your cancellation.
Your booking will not be cancelled by us, the owners, except in exceptional circumstances beyond our control. Notification will be given of the cancellation as soon as possible and we will promptly refund all payments made for your holiday. Our liability for cancellation will be limited to payments made to us.
BREAKAGES, DAMAGE OR LOSS
Damage to property – Please treat the facilities & accommodation with due care so that other
guests may continue to enjoy them. In the event that you notice damage in your
accommodation please let us know immediately so that we can take the appropriate action. If
there have been any breakages during your stay, we would be grateful if you could replace
them or advise us before you leave.
We reserve the right to ask you to leave if you, or any of your group are causing a disturbance or upsetting other guests and in these circumstances the full rental cost of the holiday will be retained by us, the owners, and there will be no refund for any lost days.
Please report any problem or complaint concerning your accommodation to us, the owners, as soon as possible and we will do our best to put matters right.
We are a family friendly establishment and bookings will not be accepted for stag or hen party groups, groups of individuals under 25 years of age OR all male/all female groups. Please advise if this is the case before making your reservation.
The owners reserve the right to refuse bookings should they appear unsuitable for the property and reserve the right to refuse admission on arrival if the party has been misrepresented to the owners.
The number of people in the group (including young children/babies) must not exceed the bed spaces available in your cottage.
UNAVAILABILITY OF ACCOMMODATION
If your cottage is not available due to extraordinary circumstances beyond our control, then we will offer alternative accommodation/dates (subject to availability and conditions) or return all monies paid to us by you and this will be the extent of our liability.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Your property will be available for occupancy by 4pm on the day of your arrival. Please leave your cottage by 10am on your day of departure. There is no refund for late arrivals/early departures.
You and all the members of your holiday rental party agree both to keep the property clean and tidy and to leave the property in the same condition as it was found.
There is adequate room for parking on site. We do not accept any liability for vehicles or contents left on site.
The internet connection is available (at no extra cost) subject to technical availability.
Children under 18 must always be supervised by their parents/guardians.
OWNERS ACCESS TO THE PROPERTY
We, the owner, or our representative reserve the right to enter the apartment at any time to undertake essential maintenance or for inspection purposes
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all accommodation (including the Games Room and Laundry) at Berry Park.
Berry Park is privately owned and is our home. We expect all guests to enjoy the facilities and treat the property with the same respect that they would their own house.
